Skin Needling / Microneedling
Perfect treatment for acne scars, skin hyperpigmentation and fine wrinkles
What is skin needling?
Skin needling or also micro - needling is minimally invasive, non- surgical procedure for facial rejuvination that involves using a micro needling device to create a controlled skin injury. Each needle punctures the skin and creates channel of micro - wounds. The micro - channels created spontaneously close after 10 minute. As the needles are microscopic and penetrate the skin as shallow as 0.5mm to 1.5mm, this procedure is considered to be one of the safest methods of wrinkle and scar treatment.

How does it work?
The needles of the electronic device injure superficial dermal collagen strands, which force the skin to start healing leading to production of new collagen, elastin and capillaries. Neovascularisation and neocollagenesis lead to thickened skin and a reduction of scars, with improved skin texture, firmness, colour and hydration.

What are the benefits?
-
Reducing scars caused by acne, surgery or thermal burns
-
Fading stretch marks
-
Reducing fine lines and deep wrinkles
-
Dyspigmentation and melasma
-
Tightening sagging skin.

How many procedures would I need?
That depends strictly on the problem treated. Fine lines and wrinkles will require less treatments than acne and burn scar treatment. We would recommend 5 sessions 6 weeks apart for maximum effect.

How painful is the procedure?
Numbing cream will be used during the procedure. While the procedure might be uncomfortable for some people the sensation is individual and depends on the problem treated (how deep the needle need to penetrate) and your pain tolerance. However, this procedure is highly tolerable. You can expect some redness and mild swelling after the treatment and the day after.

When I'll see the results?
The first results you will most likely see 10-15 days after the procedure. However, for scars and stretchmarks takes longer to respond. You will need to complete 2 or 3 procedures before the result become obvious.
